Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, (Ephesians 1:3)

The Dhinakaransor streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God” (Psalm 42:1). Some people would believe only when they see. The Lord Jesus must appear to them. My dearly beloved, you should not be like that. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have belived. The Lord is always with you (Isaiah 41:10, 13-15). Seek the Lord sincerely and with all humility. Then you would find Him. You would also receive His abundant blessings, gifts and do great exploits for the Lord.

Deborah was just an ordinary woman like us (Judges 4:4). But she was a prophetess, judge and considered to be the mother of Israel. King Jabin rose up against he people of Israel and he cruelly oppressed them. It was at this juncture the Lord asked Deborah to tell Barak to fight against them. Barak who was one of the Commanders of the army of Israel told her, “Deborah, if you go with me, I will go; but if you don’t go with me I will not go”. In this manner, God honoured Deborah, an ordinary woman because she was a prophetess who had the gift of prophecy.

Dearly beloved in Christ! What do your family members and those who are known to you say about you? Are you leading an anointed spiritual life in such a way that others tell you, “You go, I will come behind”. The Lord calls you by name and says, “My child, you shall become a blessing not only to your family and many other families but also to the society. I will certainly grant you all My gifts and use you in a greater magnitude in the days to come.” We ought to be filled with the anointing of the Holy Spirit all the time (Psalm 23:5).

Spend much of your time in matters concerning God. The Lord who used Deborah is not a Respecter of persons. Do not underestimate yourself by saying, “I have lot of shortcomings”, “I am unfit”, and “I have no wisdom”. Instead arise and shine for God. Rise up like a lion for God (Isaiah 60:1). Cry out to God saying, “Lord I will not leave You until You fill me with Your love, spiritual gifts and the gift of prophecy”. Cling on to Him firmly in prayer just like Jacob. The Lord is eager to exalt us. Dearly beloved in Christ! May the Lord bless you and enable you to realize the greatness of seeking Him faithfully with all godliness and humility and transform you to arise and shine for Him.

Loving heavenly Father,

Help me to seek You sincerely and with all humility. Give me the grace to seek You in every moment of my life. Please grant me the spiritual blessings and make me glad. I fall prostrate at your feet and ask You to bestow Your grace upon me.

In the precious name of Jesus Christ I pray.
